Dr. Kelly Pettinger

Medical Director

Dr. Kelly Pettinger obtained her veterinary degree from Murdoch University, Western Australia. She has been in the veterinary field for over 20 years and has enjoyed working with all different kinds of animals. Her professional interests/specialties are Feline medicine, dermatology, and surgery. She emphasizes education in all areas of practice and is a strong advocate for continuous learning for doctors, staff, and clients. She feels strongly that caring for our pets is a team effort, and clients who are well informed about their pet’s health, medications and options for the best care can make better decisions to ensure that their furry family members are well-taken care of.

In her free time, Dr. Kelly enjoys trail riding and competing in Trail/obstacle courses around the area. She often visits Lake Pleasant with her family and her horses to keep cool in the summer heat. Dr. Kelly has 6 cats, 2 horses, and fosters various cats and kittens through a local rescue organization. Fun fact: She is a former circus artist! For several years, she trained, performed, and taught classes in aerial silks, dance trapeze, hammock and lyra.

Dr. Leber

Dr. Tom Leber

Veterinarian

I have been a veterinarian for over 30 years. I am a former practice owner. I sold my practice and joined WVC in June 2022 in order to spend more time with my family. I thoroughly enjoy practicing veterinary medicine and involving the owners with diagnostic and treatment decisions. When not at the clinic, I enjoy biking, hiking, walking, and watching our children’s sporting activities. I was born and raised in Arizona, and our family has visited all 50 states.
Elise

Dr. Elise Dunphy

Veterinarian

Dr. Elise was born and raised in Pennsylvania, (the Philadelphia side, not the Pittsburgh side), where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Sciences with an Equine Science minor from Penn State (Love Ya Lions!). She went on to earn her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 2010.

After a particularly cold snowmagedon winter, she moved out to Arizona for an internship, never imagining she would meet her husband and end up staying in the sunny southwest. He has since taught her everything she never needed to know about rodeo, bull riding, and Star Wars.

An equine practitioner at heart, she spent 10 years in mixed animal practice, working on everything from dogs and cats to horses to the occasional alpaca. She has developed a passion for sports medicine, treating working dogs and rodeo animals alike. While she primarily practices Western medicine, Dr. Elise is very interested in Complementary Medicine, becoming AVCA certified in Animal Chiropractic in 2013, and finishing an Acupuncture program in 2022. When she isn’t working, you can find her home on the ranch in Wickenburg with her husband Jake, their 2 sons Guy and Sean, and their menagerie of dogs, cats, horses and bucking bulls. She loves baking and all things Disney!

Bobbie

Bobbie

Hospital Manager

I’m Bobbie, the hospital manager of Wickenburg Veterinary Clinic since December of 2024. I’m a 5th generation Arizona native, Certified Veterinary Technician (Est 2005), Certified Equine Massage Therapist, and started my veterinary career in 1988. My love for the animals began from birth, as a I grew up working on our family/ranch farm. My experience in the field ranges from small animal, large animal, general practice, and specialty/emergency, which has added to my knowledge bucket. When I’m not working, you can find me either at the beach in Carlsbad, the mountains of northern Arizona with my husband and cattle dogs, or riding horses with my close group of friends. We have a small farm in Surprise that is home to our crazy cattle dogs, chickens, goats, geese, peacocks, and ducks. I hope to leave this world a better place by helping as many critters as I possibly can.

Ashley

Lead Technician

I’m Ashley and I’ve been at Wickenburg veterinary clinic since June 2023. I have been in the veterinary field for over 20 years and have enjoyed working with all different kinds of animals. Working in the veterinary field is my passion. When I’m not at work I’m enjoying my family and working on our little farm or showing our horses and Labradors.
Bella

Bella

Veterinary Technician Assistant

I just started as a vet tech at Wickenburg Vet Clinic in September 2022. I have been a vet tech for a little over a year and plan to achieve my CVT in the near future. I was born and raised in Australia in an animal-loving family, so I was constantly surrounded by all kinds of domestic and exotic animals. After I graduated high school, I decided to move to Arizona for exciting new opportunities and to be closer to family. When I’m not working, you can find me exploring the outdoors, off-roading, or at the lake.
Kristin

Kristin

Veterinary Technician Assistant

My name is Kristin, and I’ve been employed at Wickenburg Veterinary Clinic since 2021. Here I’m pretty much a Jill of all trades. My favorite aspect of working here is that I get to see amazing animals every day (I have a soft spot for senior fur babies). Every day is definitely an adventure here. Plus, I get to bring my fur babies to work with me (a major perk).

Usually, when I’m not at work, I’m at home with even more animals (including my husband) or with my wonderfully energetic grandbabies!

Cailin

Cailin

Veterinary Technician Assistant

I have been working with animals since 2023 and it has always been a passion of mine. I remember being young and wanting to pet any critter that passed by me. In 2023 I started training horses and further moved on to working in an animal shelter. I am now in school to obtain my CVT and am working at Wickenburg Vet to further my experience while I am in school. I am hoping to become a veterinary technician and to help the animals that can’t help themselves.

I’ve been working in the Veterinary Field for over 5 years and I started with Wickenburg Veterinary Clinic about mid-2023. When I am not at work I am playing pickleball. I’ve been playing doe the last 11 years. Or you can catch me out on a hike with my dogs Chip and Rafa.

I started at Wickenburg Vet in December 2024. I have been in the veterinary field for over 4 years.I moved to Arizona in 2020, but I am not new to the area. I have great memories of countless summer vacations spent traveling throughout Arizona, visiting the many historical towns and landmarks. I love spending time with my 5 dogs and two cats when I’m at home and I look forward to meeting everyone’s fur babies when they visit us at Wickenburg vet!
